Assistant Pastor & Youth Director at a Baptist Church for about 2 years before I left to pursue further studies toward going to seminary.
University: John Brown University; Some work in radio broadcasting; BA in History (cum laude)
Seminary: it never happened. I married my sweetheart and signed the books at the Denver IBEW Local 111 as an Equipment Operator (I operated backhoes and trenchers and am really good with a shovel!) I also worked as a DJ and reporter at a Christian Station in N.D. (4 years) and as Bee Keeper, truck washer, welder (wire), broke and trained horses (my horse was a grandson of Three-Bars) and more in the Line Trade for an independent contractor in Colorado Springs.
Served with InFaith since 1989. Ten years in Nebraska as a Camp Director, Bible Study leader, fill in pastor/preacher for a couple small rural churches.
Denominational background: Baptist, Nazarene, Evangelical Free. We are now members of a local Presbyterian Church which is part of the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America)
Ministry; We continue with InFaith- http://infaith.org/ as missionaries and shepherd to sheepherders from South America and Mexico working here in the west. My connection to Spanish speaking folks began when I was 14 years old my family moved to southern Old Mexico for about 6 months to help with a mission to boys from indigenous peoples across Mexico.
